Task and Solution
Our company built the real-time notification engine and mobile backend powering the Here Comes The Bus app. The system processes live GPS telemetry from school buses to trigger automated alerts when students scan on or off the bus, when the bus is approaching, and upon arrival. We developed the geofencing logic, push notification infrastructure, and the Cancel-a-Ride feature that reduced daily parent phone calls to transportation departments by 25%.
